Terms of use

By using Consensa you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. Consensa is provided by Mentalis AI, LLC.

You must be 18 or older. Consensa is available in the United States first.

When you ask a question, several AIs from different companies answer it, another AI compares their answers and picks or combines the best one, and we tell you how much they agreed. A quick answer comes from one AI. Before your first question goes out, the app shows which companies receive it and asks for your OK (see the privacy policy).

Please don't use Consensa to:

• break the law or help someone else break it;
• harass, threaten or harm anyone;
• create sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits people;
• make important decisions about other people automatically, such as about their credit, housing, employment, health or legal matters;
• get around ads, quotes or limits, run automated queries, or tamper with how the app works;
• resell answers, offer them as a service, or use them to build or train a competing AI model or service.

We may refuse questions that break these rules.

Answers come from AIs and can be wrong, even when every AI agrees. They are information, not professional advice. For medical, legal, financial or other important decisions, talk to a qualified professional.

Panel answers can be paid for with rewarded video ads.

• Before you choose: the app shows how many ads a question takes, and that number never goes up while you watch.
• No surprise charges: nothing plays and no credit is spent without a quote on screen and your tap.
• If you stop early: ads you finished still count toward your credit.
• If an answer fails after you watched its ads: the credit is kept.

Credit pays for panel answers without ads. The app shows it as "credit for about N more answers": about, because longer conversations cost a little more.

• Where it comes from: ads you watched that weren't needed for an answer, and credit packs you buy in the app.
• Buying: packs are bought through the App Store or Google Play, at the price the store shows. The store handles payment, and its terms apply to it.
• When it arrives: credit from a pack is added once the store confirms the purchase, usually within a minute.
• Refunds: refunds are the store's to decide, under its rules. If a purchase is refunded, its credit is taken back, even if that leaves your balance below zero.
• No cash value: credit can't be cashed out, sold or transferred to someone else.
• It moves with your account: if you sign in, the credit stays with your account. Signing in on another phone with an account that already has credit brings the two together.
• No expiry: credit doesn't expire.
• Deleting your data deletes your credit, including credit you bought.

You get free quick answers each day from a single AI, with no ads. The app shows how many are left; the daily number may change.

Consensa makes an account for you when you first open it, with no name or password. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional; it keeps your credit and conversations if you switch or reset your phone. If you sign in on a phone that already has credit and conversations from before, they move to the account you signed in to.

You own your questions. You give us permission to send them to the AI companies that answer them and to process them to give you an answer, as the privacy policy describes. Questions and answers are deleted 30 days after each question.

You can stop using Consensa and delete your data at any time, in the app under Settings, Privacy, or on our Delete my data page. We may suspend access if these terms are broken.

We'll update the date at the top when these terms change, and tell you in the app if a change matters.
